Individual Psychotherapy & Counseling

Multivious’ philosophy is to work with clients with respect, holding them to high standards, and operating from a holistic, strengths-based approach supported by research and evidence based practices. This approach does not focus on the negative problem areas, but on the positive characteristics and strengths of the involved clients to resolve and work through their negative situations and behaviors. Our overall goal is to assist clients in getting back to feeling & functioning at their best.

Life can create challenges and throw curveballs of any magnitude that can have even the strongest, self-actualized, and most resilient person in a place where they benefit from an empathetic and unbiased ear. Individual Psychotherapy involves meeting with a therapist one-on-one for the purpose of reducing internal struggles which occurs in the form of problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, and sensations in the body. In addition, ongoing psychotherapy aims to increase the individual’s sense of his/her own well-being and self-growth. Individual psychotherapy can help people examine barriers which interfere with quality of life.
